Canon makes it easier: you don’t need other software or the Cam Link to use your Canon camera as a webcam. This new, free software will take care of it!
This is a great move in these difficult, pandemic times. Thanks to the EOS Webcam Utility you don’t need to buy a new webcam to improve the quality of your videoconferences. The only thing to do is to download the software from Canon’s website, plug your camera into your computer with a USB and set the exposure parameters.

How to Get the EOS Webcam Utility?
The software is for course free, but available only for Windows 10 – at least now. One must remember it is still the BETA version, so minor mistakes will appear; on the other hand, this gives the app bigger opportunities to develop.
